Structural, mechanical & electrical engineering design and construction administration services for addition and renovation of the existing retail space in a shopping mall. 

The structural engineering services consisted of the following:

• Site visit for observation of the existing building condition and coordination of the new addition with the adjacent existing structure.

• Preparation of construction documents consisting of foundation and roof framing plans, details, and structural specifications for the new addition building.

• Performance of construction phase services including the review of the shop drawing submittals, preparation of responses to the contractor’s questions, attendance at site visits and progress meetings.  

The mechanical and electrical engineering services consisted of the following:

• Site visit for observation of the existing mechanical and electrical systems.

• Preparation of mechanical and electrical construction documents including the plans, riser diagrams, details, and mechanical and electrical specifications for the new addition building.

• Performance of construction phase services including the review of the shop drawing submittals, preparation of responses to the contractor’s questions, attendance at site visits and progress meetings.
