The Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) was the tenant in an industrial building which included the production area, warehouse, and administrative spaces. The MCC produced the printing labels for the major national and international pharmaceutical and other clients at this facility. The space temperature and humidity levels were critical for the production of the printing labels at this facility. Generally, the scope of work was as follows:
Reviewed the existing drawings and related documents for the HVAC system serving the entire plant which mostly consisted of the gas fired rooftop units equipped with chilled water coils and humidifiers.
Studied the air pressure relationship between various areas by the review of the outside air intake quantities through the rooftop units and exhaust air quantities through various exhaust air system serving this building.
With the assistance of the mechanical contractor, field surveyed all roof mounted HVAC units and identified the required maintenance and replacement items, which were the responsibility of the Landlord.
Provided a report which included the description of the existing HVAC system serving the building and identified the current deficiencies of the roof top units and provided recommendations for the corrective actions.
