Angler's Restaurant

The new two story 8,000 square feet Angler’s restaurant is located in the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  Our scope of work included the design of mechanical, plumbing and electrical system for the restaurant which included the seating areas, commercial kitchen, storage areas, toilet rooms, mechanical and electrical rooms.


Coordination with the kitchen consultant were performed for the design of mechanical, plumbing and electrical system serving various equipment and appliances in the kitchen area.


The HVAC system consisted of two split air conditioning units with duct mounted furnaces serving the first and second floors.  The makeup and exhaust air system for the kitchen hoods were designed. Adequate outdoor air were provided through the indoor air handling units to satisfy the ventilation air for the occupants in accordance with the code requirements.  Air pressure balance calculations were performed in order to maintain the kitchen under negative air pressure with respect to the remainder of the restaurant. Two underground propane tanks were designed to provide the required gas to the HVAC equipment, domestic water heaters and kitchen equipment and appliances.


Separate underground grease piping and related outdoor grease tank were designed to serve the kitchen area.  Gas fired steam boiler and related steam piping were designed to provide the required steam to the kitchen equipment and appliances.


The mechanical, plumbing and electrical drawings were prepared for obtaining he building permit.
